Who We Are

Maison del Gusto SARL (“MDG”, “we”, “us”) is a Monaco company registered under RCI no. 12S05810, with its registered office at Le Soleil d’Or, 7/9 Rue Louis Aureglia, 98000 Monaco. MDG is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website and in the course of providing its products and services.

For any question about this policy or about your personal data, email our privacy team or write to us by post at the address above.

We process personal data in accordance with Monaco Law no. 1.565 of 3 December 2024 on the protection of personal data. Where we offer products and services to customers residing in the European Union — for example, deliveries to France — Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR) also applies to that processing.

The Data We Collect

We collect only the data we need to operate our boutique and serve you:

  • Identity and contact details — your name, delivery and billing addresses, telephone number, email address and the password for your customer account.
  • Order information — the products you purchase, delivery instructions, invoicing details and your order history.
  • Payment information — payments are handled by our payment service providers; MDG does not store complete card numbers.
  • Correspondence — messages you send us by email or through our contact forms, including any dietary or allergy information you choose to share, which we use solely to prepare your order safely.
  • Age confirmation — confirmation that you are 18 or over when you order age-restricted products such as alcohol.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and the cookies described below.

How We Use Your Data

The main purposes for which we process personal data are:

  • Processing and delivering the orders you entrust to us (performance of our contract with you).
  • Complying with our legal obligations, including client identification, invoicing, accounting and age verification.
  • Managing your customer account and responding to your enquiries.
  • Processing electronic mail and, where you have agreed, sending you information about our products, producers and experiences — you can opt out at any time.
  • Maintaining the security and improving the performance of our website (our legitimate interest).

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function: they keep your basket, checkout and account session working and remember your language preference. These essential cookies do not require consent.

We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, they will only be set with your prior consent.

Who We Share Data With

We share personal data only where necessary to provide our services:

  • Couriers and delivery partners, who receive your name, delivery address and telephone number to complete your delivery.
  • Payment service providers, to process your transactions securely.
  • IT and hosting providers who operate and support the website.
  • Public authorities and professional advisers, where the law requires it.

MDG does not sell personal data and does not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Personal data is kept for the time required to carry out your order and manage our relationship with you, and is then archived for a maximum of 10 years in line with our legal, accounting and tax obligations. Account data is retained until you ask us to delete your account.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, email our privacy team or write to Maison del Gusto SARL, Le Soleil d’Or, 7/9 Rue Louis Aureglia, 98000 Monaco. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
